I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. Not counting my fifth-grade class play, I first got involved in theater in high school, and majored in Theatre and History at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. After college, I took a 15-year break from the stage, collecting Master's Degrees in History and International Relations. In 1999, I became involved with a local community theater group, StageRight TheaterCompany. I'm still involved with StageRight, serving on their Board of Trustees. I also met my wife through the company, so StageRight will always have a fond place in my heart. In 2007, I also became involved with another local theater company, Pinnacle Acting Company. Pinnacle's mission is a little different from StageRight's, and they tend to produce more contemporary shows. They also hold monthly play readings and acting workshops. I'm glad they let me hang out with them. When I'm not working on a show, I teach History at Salt Lake Community College and work as a Law Clerk at a local law firm (I hope to actually finish my Law degree sometime in the near future). I'm glad to have come across this site. I hope to pick up some pointers from everyone else here.
