H. Caitlin Corbitt

My name is Caitlin Corbitt. I am from Nashville Tennessee and I attend school at Maryville College in East Tennessee. My major is Theatre and English for Teacher's licensure so that after I make my career in acting and I want something more I can teach at the secondary level. I do hope to go graduate school. I sing and growing up in Music City USA I had some of the best young teachers the non profit community music school I attended (W.O.Smith Community Music School!) had to offer. They were all classically trained with wonderful talent and although I learned all of the techniques and genres, they all wanted to sing country music and so did I. So I can sing Broadway and French Operas...but I can sound just like Patsy Cline when given the chance. :) I also dance, write stories, songs, and music, and I play guitar enough to write my songs. I graduated from Nashville School of the Arts and greatly benefitted from all I had to learn there. I worked from Ann Street Kavanagh at Street Performance Theater, a children's theater, for about 2 years were I met some wonderful people. I am currently in my Sophmore year and I am the assistant director and stage manager of Maryville College's production of "Agnes of God" and will be working on Sam Shepard's "Fool for Love" soon. I have a lot more to add but I don't have the time right now so I am so sorry! Ckeck my listed performance for others I have played
