CAST AS: Algernon Moncrieff in The Importance of Being Earnest
About this performance:
This was a very enjoyable production, and show. The script is amazing, and is full of so much to work with. I strongly suggest it. Our production was very successful, and always made the audience leave the theatre happy.
I choked on a muffin onstage during the big fight between Algernon and Jack in Act Two. I started coughing, and inhaling the tea in order to try and clear my throat, but ended up just choking. Luckily, I survived, and got the muffin out of my throat. The audience also loved it. It made that performance very unique.
Advice for others:
Algernon is a very outrageous person. Make sure that when playing this part you do not hold anything back. Give yourself completely to the script when you play this guy.
